Well over a year after the breakup of My Chemical Romance, former lead singer Gerard Way announced his upcoming solo record entitled, Hesitant Animal. Set to be released on September 30, Way has been giving fans hints about this upcoming project throughout the summer. In anticipation, pre-orders will be available on August 19. Way will also be releasing a music video for one of his new songs, entitled “No Show,” during the same day.

In a statement he released through his website recently, Way is quoted: “I want the record to sonically galvanize people.” This prompted much anticipation as MCR fans all over the world continue to hope that despite the fire being put out, the candle spark remains. According to his website, fans will be able to listen to some songs off Hesitant Alien live for the first time when Way plays the Reading & Leeds festivals in late August.
