Turnover Release New Song, Announce Headlining Tour Dates

After announcing that they would be releasing a new 7″ titled Blue Dream, Virginia Beach’s Turnover have debuted the first track off the effort, entitled “Disintegration,” which will drop August 26 via Broken Rim Records in the US as well as Dogs Knights Productions in the UK. This release comes after their debut full-length, Magnolia, last year.

The song starts off with a slow, dreamy main riff throughout the first verse and chorus until singer Austin Getz belts out “You wake up / You’re nothing / You’re tired / You’re struggling,” while the rest of the band explodes into a climatic overdrive to help feed the lyrics from the middle towards the end. You can listen to the song over at BrooklynVegan.

In addition to the song’s debut, the band also announced a tour that will go through most of September into the beginning of October with Light Years and Malfunction in supporting roles. The tour poster and list dates are below so be sure to catch a show when they come to your town.
