Hours Make A Strong Argument For Being Your New Favorite Band With “Crossfire”

We love finding new alternative rock bands who have discovered a new take on music that catches us completely off guard. It’s not always about reinventing the wheel altogether. Sometimes all you need to stand out is a good sound with catchy hooks, infectious melodies, and lyrics that actually have something to say.

Enter Hours. Hailing from Norwhich, this up and coming act have released only two songs to date, but already they have begun developing one of the most dedicated fan bases in the UK rock underground. Their latest single, “Crossfire,” falls somewhere between the sound of Mallory Knox and Emarosa, with just a dash of Mayday Parade’s wails thrown in for flavor. The song’s official video dropped today, and it’s largely performance heavy. You can view the clip below:

Hours have a string of tour dates lined up for the days ahead.

August:

5 Newcastle // Think Tank

6 Nottingham // Rescue Rooms

7 Norwich // Waterfront

8 Leicester // The Shed

We hope to feature more music from Hours before the end of 2014. For now, comment below and let us know your thoughts on “Crossfire.”
