I’m not exactly sure how frequently we feature mashup tracks, but if I had to take a stab in the dark my guess would be that posts like this only happen once every few weeks. We receive a lot of mashup submissions, but very few are worth the time it would take to craft a decent article. Today, after sifting through roughly two dozen new submissions, we stumbled across a hit.

DJ Anthony U-Vex may not be on your radar just yet, but in recent years he has been working hard to build awareness for his unique take on club music. His latest release is a being promoted as a remix to Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” but in reality it’s a mashup of that song and J-Kwon’s infamous “Tipsy.” I never thought the two songs sounded all that similar, but U-Vex finds a way to make them jell that might just blow your mind.
