Watch Alt-J’s New “Left Hand Free” Music Video

English indie rock group Alt-J do a good job of keeping their sound quivering with unanticipated volumes and tones. It looks like they do the same with their music videos, too. In the new clip the band shared for “Left Hand Free” off This Is All Yours (out September 22 via Warner Music), we take a massive turn in the road from where their “Hunger of the Pine” video left off.

Last time we were left watching a man literally run for his life. Now we get the chance to breathe as they screen clips of the Guadalupe River and Texas’s dusty, calm life in front of us. Directed by Ryan Staake (Diplo, Major Lazer), the new video has all the classics (read: fireworks, pickup trucks, and summer flings) you could want. That’s not surprising considering Alt-J said the song was written for “American truckers with ‘Good Riddance To Bin Laden’ stickers.”
