Ariana Grande And Big Sean Make The “Best Mistake” On New Single

Ballads don’t find their way to radio too often, but this one will likely take top 40 by storm in no time at all.

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I don’t spend a lot of time dwelling on celebrity relationships, but I would be lying if I tried to tell you that I never read click bait headlines about who is loving/screwing/cheating on who in that far away place we call Hollywood. In recent weeks, the big couple in music as far as paparazzi are concerned has been Ariana Grande and Big Sean, two of the most successful twenty-somethings in entertainment today with everything in the world going for them. The pair have yet to comment on whether or not rumors of their supposed relationship are true, but they’ve added a gallon of fuel to the fire with the debut of a duet titled “Best Mistake.”

Not everyone has been fortunate enough to find love in the dating world, but almost every person I know has found someone that they cannot pull themselves away from no matter how hard they try. It’s as if they have no choice except to keep certain people in their lives, regardless of whether or not the general public thinks it’s good for them. Hell, they’re not even sure it’s good for them. They just know that something deep down is pulling them towards one another and they are not about to act like they know better than the universe, so they stay and deal with whatever fire or brimstone that may follow. “Best Mistake” uses all of this as its premise, and from that point builds two separate perspectives on a relationship that has hit hard times. Grande is a treat, but I think it’s Big Sean who steals the show. Listen below and let us know what you think:

Ariana Grande will release her new album, My Everything, on August 26.
