More ‘Star Wars Episode VII’ Plot Details Revealed; Re: Villains

This is a spoiler alert. Don’t read beneath this if you don’t want to be spoiled about who the villains are in the upcoming Star Wars film. This is your only warning.

The good people over at Latino ReviewBadass Digest, and Indie Revolver have revealed some crucial plot details about the much-anticipated Star Wars Episode VII.

Firstly, here’s what Latino Review had to say about the recent plot reveal of Star Wars:

“To catch you up on what we think we know about Episode VII’s plot thus far: Luke’s lightsaber (and maybe hand but probably not) crash lands on a planet leading Daisy Ridley and John Boyega on a search for Luke, which leads them to Han and Chewie, who aren’t in the Millennium Falcon because Oscar Isaacs has it. The party is looking for Luke who has been MIA since Jedi. But Luke isn’t hiding, Luke is a captive.

Let’s push our understanding past the first act and into the second act of the story.

What we’ve been circling around are the villains of the piece, occasionally coming up with buzzing from the set about bounty hunters or “Sith Witches,” and those aren’t entirely inaccurate, but the truth is much more…

…INQUISITIVE.

The Inquisitors are the villains of Star Wars: Episode VII and the name of the main villain in Star Wars: Rebels. They seem to be loosly based on the now-deleted Expanded Universe Inquistors (Click here for that background) mixed with the hardended Sith look of Rebels’ villain. The Inquisitors are defenders of the Sith Order and they’ve been around for a long time. Just how long is what turns Episode VII’s story on it’s head.”

When the heroes finally catch up with Luke, who is captured, this triggers a flashback which explains how the inquisitors are tied to the sith and DARTH VADER. Yes, that’s right, Vader will be in Episode VII in some form even though it may only be flashback sequences.

Secondly, Badass Digest has posted a multitude of articles filled with Star Wars details. One of them being an explanation for the mechanical hand that Bad Robot tweeted the other day (find that photo below.) The other explanation being specific details on why Han Solo and Chewie are not flying the Millenium Falcon in the beginning of Episode VII.

According to Badass Digest, the above photo is a truncated look at the villain’s mechanical arm, not Luke’s. Here’s a description on what the villain will look like:

“He wears a black robe. His eyes are deep red. And half of his face is metal. He’s a cyborg.”

According to Badass’ sources, we find Han and Chewie piloting a super star destroyer in the beginning of Episode VII!

Over at Indie Revolver, two pieces of concept art were revealed that depicts Han in uniform. Is he working for the Rebels? Well, I guess that is still left up to interpretation. Check out those pieces below:

Here are some leaked photos of what stormtrooper helmets may look like in Episode VII. The first helmet is the standard issue but the second one is fitted for a more unforgiving climate. Take a gander:

Devin Faraci of Badass Digest also backs up that these stormtrooper designs match up with the ice planet that the empire has commandeered to build a world-destroying superweapon! Here’s what else he had to say:

But get this: it isn’t an ice planet. It’s an ice and forest planet. Think North of the Wall in Game of Thrones.”

Whew! That was a lot of information, sound back in the comments below and let us know how you feel about all of these details!
