Hostage Calm are back, and today they are continuing the promotional run towards the release of their latest studio album with the premiere of a brand new track titled “A Thousand Miles Away From Here.” The song, which premiered on Noisey shortly after 9AM this morning (August 18), is one of the most avant-garde songs in the band’s catalog. That’s not to say the track sticks out as being a change of pace entirely or something completely unexpected, but in comparison to other singles, “A Thousand Miles Away From Here” offers one of the most thrilling, larger-than-life sounding productions the band has ever delivered.
