Transit Announce ‘Joyride,’ Reveal October Tour With Such Gold And Driver Friendly

Boston rock outfit Transit have announced plans to release their newest full-length, Joyride, on October 21 through Rise Records. No single was released alongside the announcement, but the band did reveal plans for a short headlining tour, as well as a new song snippet.

Starting with the tour, Transit will be headlining a two-week run with support from New York punk rockers Such Gold and Texas heartthrobs Driver Friendly. It’s essentially the perfect tour for anyone who reads UTG, and it’s hitting many cities between Boston and Michigan in late October. The full list of dates are as follows:

Oct. 17th – the barbary – Philadelphia, PA
Oct. 18th – the met – Providence, RI
Oct. 19th – middle east – Cambridge, MA
Oct. 21st – the loft @ the chance – Poughkeepsie, NY
Oct. 22nd – asbury lanes – Asbury Park, NJ
Oct. 24th – the space – Hamden, CT
Oct. 25th – the studio @ webster hall – New York, NY
Oct. 26th – amityville music hall – Amityville, NY
Oct. 28th – sneaky dee’s – Toronto, ON
Oct. 29th – pike room – Pontiac, MI
Oct. 31st – emerson theatre – Indianapolis, IN
