Under the Gun sent photographer Nina Corcoran to Union Park in Chicago, IL from July 18-20 for Pitchfork Music Festival.

Every year, Pitchfork Music Festival announces its lineup and I let out a little wimper over in Boston from jealousy. The music blog’s annual festival has been going on for ten years now in Chicago, and as such they’re able to curate a small but focused line-up that boasts a lot of great up-and-coming acts as well as bigger indie staples. This year, at long last, I finally caved in and went.

After interviewing the bands playing about their favorite Chicago spots, seeing them light up the three stages was a delight. From Grimes’ terrifying elf faces to Beck’s forever cool antics, no one left upset. The only hard part was deciding the victor of each set overlap.
