Breaking Benjamin Officially End Hiatus, Return With New Lineup

After spending the last four years on an indefinite hiatus, late yesterday, Breaking Benjamin announced their triumphant return to music in the form of a brief teaser video, which you can check out after the break.

Posted to the band’s official Facebook page, the minute-long clip came with the promise that new material is “coming soon,” and additionally showcased a fortified lineup consisting of Jasen Rauch (Red), Keith Wallen (Adelitas Way), Shaun Foist (Picture Me Broken), and bassist Aaron Bruch. From all indications, founding member Benjamin Burnley will continue to front the group.

The Pennsylvania outfit last released Dear Agony in 2009 before retreating from the public eye amidst a series of internal issues, which may or may not have resulted in the group’s newly revitalized roster.

Regardless of backstory, however, all eyes will inevitably be on the hard rock quintet as 2014 winds to a close, ours included. If you’re excited for what the future holds, let us know in the replies.
