Stream Wand’s Excellent Debut Album ‘Ganglion Reef’

LA-based four-piece Wand drop their garage rock debut, Ganglion Reef, next week via God? Records. The highly-anticipated release sees Cory Hanson (vocals, guitar, synth), Evan Burrows (drums), Daniel Martens (guitar), and Lee Landey (bass) burning a hole in the sun and letting their trippy pop songs sizzle out due to the heat of a band who’s truly on fire. To tease the release, they’re streaming the album in full over at Hype Machine.

We were caught off guard by their psychedelic lead single “Flying Golem” and again by the slow roll of “Broken Candle.” With the rest of their surreal heavy hits showing their faces via the stream, it’s safe to say Wand are chasing Tame Impala at a pretty solid speed. Give it a listen and see why their psych garage rock is not only worth buying, but catching them on tour in North America when they take off on September 3.
