The rumor mill was right. Pianos Become the Teeth confirmed today that their third studio album, Keep You, will be released by Epitaph Records. Speculation started last week after Epitaph released pictures of their Fall 2014 Sampler cassette, which listed Pianos Become the Teeth among the label’s regulars. PBTT released this statement on their website:
With such an important and diverse history, it is a huge honor to join the Epitaph family. This album is incredibly special to us and we can’t thank you all for your continued support.
Along with the announcement, the band dropped the first single from Keep You, called “Repine,” notable for its emotion and complete lack of screaming; a staple of PBTT’s previous catalog. Keep You will be released October 28 and is available for pre-order.
