One of the hottest stories on the site this week has been the surprise live debut of a new song from Florida Georgia Line over the weekend. The group, whose new album is due out in October, have since released a short teaser offering fans a studio quality taste of their next single.

Opening with the lines, “Alabamba on the boombox, baby / Bout to get a little boondocks crazy,” it doesn’t take long to recognize “Anything Goes” as signature Florida Georgia Line material. The duo has always prided themselves on their ability to create relatable music through use of pop culture references, and “Anything Goes” puts those skills front and center. In addition to the Alabama reference, the hook involves a humorous twist on Victoria’s Secret that is sure to drive men and women alike just a little crazy. I don’t know how listening to Alabama equates to party music, but I would love to find out.
