The enigmatic Los Angeles-based rapper known as Bones has followed up his excellent Garbage mixtape from earlier this year with yet another free effort in Skinny. Featuring 17 tracks of ’90s inspired, chilled-out, yet hard-as-fuck rap, Bones continues to deliver and assert his position on his internet-born throne.

For fans of Three 6 Mafia and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Skinny boasts big, trill beats and eerily beautiful, often ethereal samples to back Bones’ commanding flow. Most tracks clock in at a succinct minute an a half but the mixtape still manages to feel full.
