Marilyn Manson’s New Album Is “Prepared For Landing”

Marilyn Manson has revealed that he has a new studio album ready for release, or as he puts it, “Prepared for landing.”

Two years have passed since Marilyn Manson shared his last LP, Born Villain, with the world. In that time the man who once gave the nation the Heebie-Jeebies has focused on other areas of art, including acting and writing, but late Monday night he informed his dedicated followers that new music is indeed on the way. No title, release date, or track information has been announced, but Manson appeared to have confirmed a new LP’s completion with a recent tweet. The message posted reads, “Making more mayhem on SOA. And…the new album is prepared for landing. Fasten your seat belts.”

The SOA bit Manson refers to is his recently announced role on the final season of the FX series Sons Of Anarchy. His character’s name and history has not been revealed, but FX did release a still of Manson from one of the upcoming season’s early episodes:

SONS-OF-ANARCHY

A little older, bigger, and more John Waters-like, am I right?

We’ll keep our eyes peeled for updates on new music and let you know as soon as more information becomes available. For now, revisit Born Villain with the video for the album’s title track:
