Hostage Calm Stream ‘Die On Stage’ In Full

If any record label knows how to battle piracy it’s our good friends at Run For Cover Records. For more than a year now, any time an RFC release finds its way online early the label takes immediate steps to make that album available for purchase and stream through their various online portals. It’s a system of combating leaks that has proven incredibly effective, and it’s something others in the industry should follow in the future.

Today, RFC deployed their anti-piracy efforts to help Hostage Calm make the most of their new album Die On Stage. The record leaked early this morning, and by noon a full stream was made available through Soundcloud. You can now stream the album, in full, at the end of this post.

We have been spinning Die On Stage since the middle of August and though I cannot speak for everyone on staff I will tell you that it is a spectacular new chapter in the band’s already thrilling catalog. If you thought Please Remain Calm was a glimpse at the possibilities of future punk, Die On Stage may very well make your head explode with its dizzying sense of excitement and dance-inducing melodies.

Die On Stage will hit stores on September 15, but you should buy a copy today if you like what you hear. Don’t support piracy. Support Hostage Calm.
