Listen To Caroline Corrigan Sing On Self Defense Family’s Latest Track, “Cancel Man”

Self Defense Family are amongst the most enigmatic musical acts of our time, and they clearly wouldn’t have it any other way.

Fresh off the heels of their split that they’ve put out with Meredith Hunter (aka, SDF’s alter-ego) – which was already the band’s second release of 2014 following their full length Deathwish Inc album, Try Me – the group have recently announced the release of their latest EP, Duets. For the EP, the band has chosen to collaborate with vocalist Caroline Corrigan of whom some might remember from past songs like “Mistress Appears at Funeral” and “Marissa Wendolvske,” on every single track. BrooklynVegan premiered “Cancel Man” earlier today, which features Corrigan handling the vocals and making the song all her own.

Follow the jump to see dates for the band’s upcoming tour with Goodtime Boys and to give “Cancel Man” a listen. The EP can be pre-ordered through Iron Pier before its September 30 release date.
