Drop Everything And Stream Tiny Moving Parts’ New Album Right Now

The wait is over, my friends, and from what I’m hearing it was completely worth it.

Tiny Moving Parts have partnered with our friends at Redbull Sound Select to stream their new album, Pleasant Living, ahead of its September 9 US Release. The album is the second for the Minnesota based rock outfit, and it’s clear from the opening moments of “Sundress” that they have undergone a great evolution since This Couch Is Long And Full Of Friendship. The idea that anything could happen at any moment is still very much present, but the structure and lyricism takes a giant leap forward. You can stream the record, in full, below:

There are a lot of feels pouring through every track on Pleasant Living, and Redbull could not resist the urge to ask the band about their thoughts on the so-called ’emo revival’ as a result. The band responded:

Billy: Emo never went anywhere. We had sad songs in 2008, before the revival. Playing and going to house shows in basements as kids, we heard emo music all the time. Now there are bigger bands playing bigger shows so it’s more popular. We just play songs and try not to name it. We don’t care what people call it. We’re just having fun.

Pleasant Living hits stores next week, but you can still pre-order a copy through iTunes. Comment below and let us know your thoughts on the record.
