Coolio Partners With PornHub For NSFW Music Video

Coolio made headlines earlier this year for entering a partnership with PornHub, the net’s premier adult video network. We knew the deal would eventually result in a theme song of sorts for the internet company, but we had no idea just how filthy the final product would be.

This week, Coolio surprised fans and porn enthusiasts by releasing an incredibly NSFW video for a song titled “Take It To The Hub.” The song, which encourages listeners to visit the porn site and celebrate their love of pornography, sounds remarkably like something Coolio might have released twenty years ago when his level of celebrity was much higher. Likewise, the video feels inspired by the best moments of 1990s hip-hop, including scantily clad bikini models and party sequences in (and around) hot tubs. You can view the video below:

I’ve watched this video a few times now, and it’s not because of the reasons you might assume. The women are beautiful and all, but I could not help feeling like a moment would come when everyone would begin laughing from the ludicrous nature of the party on display. Has there ever been a reason outside of a twerk contest for women to line up and shake their asses in unison? Also, why wear a bikini at all if you’re going to expose everything they are meant to cover up?

It’s unclear how far Coolio and PornHub will take this partnership, but I am hopeful that more absurd content like the footage above will surface in the months ahead. Stay tuned.
