City And Colour and P!nk Announce Collaborative Album, Share Lead Single

In today’s pile of random news comes a true bizarre gem. As Property of Zack reports, Dallas Green, aka City And Colour, will be teaming up with finger-flipping pop star P!nk to drop a collaborative album under the moniker You+Me. The album, called rose ave., drops October 14 via RCA Records. That means there’s a little over one month until we hear what it sounds like when Alexisonfire gets to swing from a giant curtain.

If you miss The Civil Wars or are on the lookout for darker Of Monsters and Men material, this is for you. The song features some classic country guitar sliding and gorgeous layered harmonies. For once, this isn’t a collaboration about making money on radio hits. It seems Green and P!nk have a real musical bond here formed from wanting to explore a softer, southern side to escape life’s loneliness.
