With their seventh studio album Lift A Sail, around the corner, Yellowcard have released a third track off the album in the form of a lyric video. Entitled “Transmission Home,” the lyric video features footage from various space missions with a retro, home video feel.
Lift A Sail, due on October 7, marks Yellowcard’s debut with Razor & Tie as well as the band’s first release without iconic drummer Longineu W. Parsons III, better known as simply, “LP.” Coinciding with the departure of their long-time drummer, the band has indicated that the album will provide a more mature “rock” sound, rather than their traditional pop-punk sound. With singles including “One Bedroom,” and “Make Me So” already released, it’s clear that the album will mark a paradigm shift in the band’s historic career.
You can find newly-released pre-order information for Lift A Sail on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and more. Don’t forget to stream the new lyric video for “Transmission Home” via The Telegraph, below.
