At long last, vocalist Brent Walsh of I The Mighty has finally made an official announcement regarding his upcoming solo record. In a short informational teaser that was published to the singer-songwriter’s Facebook page, Walsh explains how the upcoming record will be a collection of extremely diverse tracks that were recorded in pieces over the course of 7 years of writing and working with I The Mighty.
For those who don’t know, I The Mighty originally started as an acoustic duo comprised of Walsh and current guitarist, Ian Pedigo, several years before their Equal Vision Debut, 2012’s Karma Never Sleeps. Fans of the modern I The Mighty sound shouldn’t worry, however, since the band has indicated that they are writing a follow-up to Satori.
Simply titled 7, Walsh’s debut as a solo artist will arrive via Equal Vision Records on November 10. Check below to see the short teaser video, narrated by Walsh, about 7 and stay tuned for pre-order announcements.
