Progressive metal deities Between The Buried and Me are set to release a DVD/Blu-ray, entitled Future Sequence: Live at Fidelitorium, through Metal Blade Records on September 30.
Recorded at Fidelitorium Recordings outside of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the production features BTBAM performing their most recent studio album, The Parallax II: Future Sequence, in its entirety. BTBAM are also occasionally accompanied by other musicians that will provide back-up instrumentation in the way of percussion, saxophone, flute, and even a string quartet. This is all set within an intimate, live focus, sans audience, to provide fans with a closer look into the album and the band’s ability to flawlessly perform these numbers live. If you’ve ever experienced the band’s show before, you know what I mean.
Below, you can catch the full performance of “Extremophile Elite” and the trailer for the DVD/Blu-ray which features interview bits with the band members as they explain the idea behind the whole concept. Make sure to pre-order a copy of Future Sequence: Live at Fidelitorium through Metal Blade.
