Psych rock band Wand made a smashing debut this year with their full-length Ganglion Reef, tossing out the kind of first record that makes you wonder how much planning went in to make a record so creative. Now they’re keeping those juices flowing in the music video for their lead single “Flying Golem.”

Directed and animated by Meghan Tryon and Garrett M. Davis, the video sees a seamless blend of pixelated drawings and computer animation morphing to create castles, wizards, and musical magic. With work that’s well woven, it makes it so easy to get lost in the visuals. By the time the song ends, you’ll wonder why they didn’t make videos for the whole album.
