Maroon 5 are riding high on a wave of critical acclaim for their latest album, V, and earlier today they returned to music headlines everywhere with the release of the official remix for “Animals.”

If you have spent any time within earshot of a top 40 radio station within the last month you have no doubt heard “Animals” a time or twelve. It’s the kind of feel good pop track that has helped Maroon 5 make millions over the last decade, with just enough sexuality to make knees weak without upsetting conservatives. The remix features an appearance from J. Cole, which is cool, but ultimately does very little to change the original song. You can stream the track below:
