California indie/post-rock outfit From Indian Lakes has just premiered their upcoming 10-track record, entitled Absent Sounds. The promising effort set to be released on October 7–a little over a year after signing to Triple Crown Records–features the band’s original sonic elements that will most certainly appeal to the audience they have captivated with the release of their 2012 independent record, Able Bodies.

Frontman and ace lyricist John Vannucchi describes this step in their career as, “finally sleeping at night, or the first sigh of relief after good news.”

You can pre-order the upcoming record via Triple Crown here, and you can now stream Absent Sounds below (via Nylon).
