Somos Announce New 7″ Split, Stream New Song

If you haven’t been keeping up with these new folks who go by the name of Somos, you should probably start now. Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, the self-proclaimed (and accurately so) “too much punch to be lo-fi, too melodically contoured to be punk” artists have just announced a new 7″ split with Sorority Noise via Bad Timing Records.

The split EP is scheduled to be released on November 4, and pre-orders are available here. In addition to that, Somos is now streaming a new song from the split, entitled “Letters From An Absent Future.”

You can stream the new song below via AbsolutePunk and check out the split’s album art and track listing below as well.

Side A:
Somos – Letters From An Absent Future
Somos – Back And Forth

Side B:
Sorority Noise – Dobranoc
Sorority Noise – Wesleyan’s Best Dressed

In case you missed it, the band is scheduled to support Modern Baseball on their later fall headlining tour which begins in the middle of November. This is Somos’ first ever full U.S. tour so go grab tickets and be that fan who gets to say, “I’ve been there from the start!”
