Pink Floyd Premiere New Song, “Louder Than Words”

There’s been lots of talk, suspicions, supposed leaks, and more surrounding the announcement of an upcoming Pink Floyd album said to be titled The Endless River. The album, which has been given an official release date of November 10, will be the first release by the band in 20 years. For those who don’t know, The Endless River was written by only two of Pink Floyd’s original members, guitarist and singer David Gilmour and drummer Nick Mason.

The album is said to be dedicated to former member Richard Wright who passed away back in 2008 and is featured as a writer or co-writer on a majority of the album’s tracks. Despite the touching tribute, some fans are of course a little upset that driving force and songwriter Roger Waters was not involved in the upcoming record.

You can stream the radio debut of “Louder Than Words” below the jump, which shares some interesting similarities to Pink Floyd’s classic hit “Comfortably Numb.”
