Owel Start IndieGoGo To Fund New EP And Video

We’re big fans of Owel here at UTG, and we’d love to see new music from the group as soon as possible. That’s why we want you to know about their recently launched IndieGoGo campaign.

The New Jersey five-piece band is crowdfunding for a new EP, to be recorded with producer Mike Watts (As Tall As Lions, The Dear Hunter). Additionally, the band will use funds from the campaign to create an accompanying music video for one of the new tracks. Owel is aiming to raise $14,000 for the entire project.

In case you missed it, check out the band’s Audiotree session here. If you like what you hear, donate to the project at their IndieGoGo page. See the full video explaining the project below.

John Bazley

John Bazley was raised in central New Jersey by the romantic aura of the Asbury Park beachfront, punk rock, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. He is still trying to figure all of this stuff out.

In addition to UTG, John has contributed to Alternative Press and Full Frequency Media. Follow him on Twitter for pictures of his dog.
