Warner Bros. Reveal DC Cinematic Universe Releases Through 2020

Holy bananas, Batman.

Warner Bros. has released their tentative schedule for the coming six years of DC comics in film through their newly atomized DC cinematic universe. Beginning with 2013’s Man Of Steel, the DC cinematic universe will continue with 2016’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. On top of the upcoming film’s release years, there have been a few casting announcements as well.

Revealed at an investor meeting of all places (Warner Bros., you kind of missed out on Comic-Con), it is now known that Ezra Miller will play The Flash, though which incarnation of The Flash is still unknown. Barry Allen is the current iteration of The Flash being portrayed on The CW. As well as The Flash, Ray Fisher has been cast as Cyborg.

Follow us after the jump to see DC’s upcoming film lineup.

For films, we have Suicide Squad (directed by David Ayer) and Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice hitting in 2016, a Wonder Woman film and Justice League Part 1 in 2017, a Flash and Aquaman film in 2018, a Shazam film (with Black Adam played by Dwayne Johnson) and Justice League Part 2 in 2019. And finally a Cyborg and Green Lantern film in 2020. All of those titles are currently unofficial, and we will most likely see the official titles come closer to release, so only a short 6 years for Cyborg and Green Lantern.

Yep.

It is also assumed that there will be a standalone Batman film, as well as a proper sequel to Man Of Steel in the future.

What do you all think of this massive DC announcement? Which film are you most excited for? Be sure to stay tuned to UTG for any more news regarding the DC Cinematic Universe.
