Cosby Release Video For Newest Single, “Heartracer”

This has nothing to do with ridiculous sweaters or Jell-O.

Virginia-based brothers Chris and Chip Cosby only formed their band two years ago, but Cosby have already released a healthy catalogue of music in that short period of time.

Most recently: their newest single, entitled “Heartracer.” A fun, poppy, synth-driven, indie-rock track in the vein of M83 and Phoenix, “Heartracer” is a great place to start with Cosby if you’ve yet to check out their work. The accompanying visuals explore some of the ’80s-esque vibes found in the song, with an arcade, plenty of neon and even a keytar.

You can stream the band’s newest single below, and make sure to follow the band on Facebook and Twitter to keep an eye out for their next EP.

Cosby have explained that “Heartracer” is about “that moment when we finally feel at ease with the realization that we are all, for better or worse, heading in the same direction on this big floating rock in space we call Earth.”
