American rock ‘n’ roll sextet Foxy Shazam announced today they are taking break from music — for a length of time to be determined. The band made it clear in a statement, via Facebook, that there is a future for Foxy Shazam — but the future is just unclear at the moment.
“We truly believe that there is a future for foxy Shazam, that our best art is yet to come. We don’t know how long this will take but we plan on returning some day more powerful than ever,” the band said in the statement posted on social media.
The band spent the majority of the summer touring North America in support of their fifth LP, GONZO, which they dropped for free via Bandcamp last spring. Click the “Read More” button to see the full statement from the band.

Will they finish their upcoming tour dates?
Nope. All canceled. I had tickets for Oct 31st, and got a refund sent to me. Damn.
