The Arctic Monkeys have had quite the year and a half. With the huge success of their album AM, and festivals and touring almost non-stop, they’ve become a household name.
Well, now another band, that goes by the name of Mini Mansions, is looking to take their place, with a little help from a friend, by the name of Alex Turner, the frontman of Arctic Monkeys.
They already have some huge friends, including The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson, just to drop a name.
Mini Mansions have a new album coming out in the beginning of 2015, called The Great Pretenders, and at a live show on Saturday in Phoenix, Alex Turner himself came out and performed a new song which they have recorded for the album, called “Vertigo.” The song is shockingly very relaxing and has a great verse from Turner.
Check it out for yourself below, as well as another track from Mini Mansions’ album called “Death Is a Girl,” which is much more upbeat, and has a dance touch to it.
