What You Didn’t Know: Duvoh

Focusing on lesser known aspects of artists, resident staff writer Michael Giegerich’s column, What You Didn’t Know, looks to help people gain a better understanding of their favorite musicians from all levels of the music scene.

Signed to Panda Funk Records, progressive house duo Duvoh recently released a massive festival-ready cut that is begging to become one of the scene’s next anthems. With massive, pulsating chords and a powerful vocal performance courtesy of Adrian Delgado to match, “Darkness I Needed” is everything one could ask for in a singular uplifting soundtrack.

Thus, we decided there was no better time than now to catch up with the pair of producers behind the cut and ask them about lesser known facts surrounding their lives outside of solely crafting tunes.

1. “Both of our names are Francisco and we are both 23 years old.”

2. “Our English teacher was the one that taught us how to DJ while we ditched class.”

3. “In our free time, we like to play video games. We actually won a tournament to win a trip to PAX Prime last year.”

4. “We like to make music from hip-hop to dubstep and everything in between.”

5. “One of our goals is to one day compose a score for a big movie.”
