Chicago rapper and label-owner, Fredo Santana, known by some as the elder cousin of rapper Chief Keef, has recently released an interesting track featuring Childish Gambino.
Called “Riot,” the song shows Santana’s typical style, plus a heavy contribution by Childish Gambino, who has put acting on the back burner to develop and legitimize his hip-hop image. It’s strange to hear Gambino on trap tracks, but almost fitting after hearing his recent STN MTN mixtape in which he presents himself as an Atlanta rap superstar.
Stream “Riot” below the jump to hear the track for yourself.
