Last winter we got the pleasure of hearing a few new tunes from The Dead Weather. Both “Rough Detective” and “Open Up (That’s Enough)” proved to be standout tracks from the band, and now with a third this year, entitled “Buzzkill(er),” they continue to pull out surprises.
The track is perfect example of Alison Mosshart’s range in vocals and her ability to make us beg for more with every song. The guitar riffs replicate the motion of a buzz-saw or one that makes two people pull back and forth. It’s a classic tune, so check it out below.
“Buzzkill(er),” along with new song “It’s Just Too Bad,” will be released as a digital purchase on November 4.
