Hold on to your butts, rock fans. Circa Survive have shared a new song off their forthcoming album and it’s guaranteed to make your day a bit better.

Titled “Only The Sun,” the latest offering off Descensus is a large and dramatic track that offers a little bit of everything Circa fans have come to expect from the alternative rock headliners. It’s not a great departure from their previous material, but on repeat listens it becomes increasingly clear that the band are trying to push their sound in new directions without abandoning the world of music that has supported them for so long. “‘Only The Sun’ was the first song we tracked vocals for on Descensus,” says Anthony Green, “and it was our first indication that we made the right choice working with Will Yip. Once we finished the song, I think we all knew this was going to be something different and very special for us.”
