Hot on the heels of their appearance in the new trailer for Chappie, Die Antwoord have delivered a crazy visual for their single “Ugly Boy” that you’ll be unable to shake.
You never know what to expect when Die Antwoord decide to release a new music video, but you can almost always bet the visuals will be unlike anything you have ever seen. This has been the case with every clip the duo has released to date, and I’ll be the first to tell you “Ugly Boy” is no different. The song is essentially four or five separate performance sequences, with Yo Landi and Ninja doing their best to be bizarre against the arguably beautiful vibe of the song they’re trying to promote. There’s even appearances from Flea, Jack Black, and Marilyn Manson. Check it out:
I love Die Antwoord a lot more than most people I know, but I find it hard to believe anyone could walk away from this video and not feel at least somewhat entertained. Here’s a few images to remind you just how great this video is:
Donker Mag, the new album from Die Antwoord, is available now wherever music is sold.
