“Emo revival” has really taken on a new meaning lately. Along with several other late-nineties emo bands, The Jazz June reunited earlier this year and announced that they would be releasing a new record, their first in twelve long years. You can now listen to their latest effort, After The Earthquake.
After some time off, the band fits nicely into the current landscape of the emo scene they helped forge over a decade ago. Released on the current hotbed of the genre, Topshelf Records, the new record seriously delivers. Stay tuned for more coverage of After The Earthquake in the coming weeks.
