Calling all Head Cases (or whatever Robb Flynn likes to call Machine Head‘s fans these days)! It has been three long years since Machine Head released their last studio record Unto the Locust, but the time has come and you can now stream the metal veterans’ new album, Bloodstone & Diamonds, in its entirety.
Longtime fans of the band had to wonder how they would fare after last year’s departure of founding member Adam Duce, whose backing vocals and thundering bass lines were a signature of the band’s sound. But at first listen, it sounds like they’ve delivered yet another welcome addition to the Machine Head canon that will sit just fine alongside classics like Burn My Eyes and The Blackening.
At 71 minutes, the album is the longest of the band’s career, so you may want to buy yourself a copy to help yourself digest the whole thing. The album hits stores on November 10, but for now, you can catch the album stream below.
