Prawn Announce 7″ EP And Release New Single, “Settled”

In line with Record Store Day on November 27 (Black Friday), New Jersey natives, Prawn, are scheduled to release a limited edition 7″ EP which includes songs that came to life as the band was recording Kingfisher, their 2014 studio album from last summer. Prior to the EP’s release, Topshelf Records will also be putting out a digital deluxe version of Kingfisher on November 25, which will include two additional tracks, “Settled” and “Built For.”

Guitarist and vocalist Tony Clark talked about the EP and shared: “Last year we set out to write a full-length record, which eventually became ‘Kingfisher.’ We wrote and recorded a total of 12 songs, of which only 10 made the final cut. We had to cut two songs and shuffle the order to make it onto a 12″ vinyl. The two songs we left off are personally some of our favorites and we thought they deserved a proper release. The good folks at Topshelf agreed and hence the Settled 7-inch.”

“Settled” is now available to stream and you can find it below.
