We’re all loving the new Run The Jewels record over here at UTG. This album feels like a departure from the vast majority of music we’ve heard in the genre this year, largely due to the excellent choice of collaborators. My favorite contributor, Zack De La Rocha, joined the hip-hop duo along with Travis Barker this week for the group’s tour date in Los Angeles.
The Rage Against The Machine frontman spit his verse during the group’s performance of “Close Your Eyes (And Count To Fuck),” and Travis Barker got behind the kit for “All Due Respect.” You can check out some Instagram videos of the show below.

John Bazley was raised in central New Jersey by the romantic aura of the Asbury Park beachfront, punk rock, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. He is still trying to figure all of this stuff out.
In addition to UTG, John has contributed to Alternative Press and Full Frequency Media. Follow him on Twitter for pictures of his dog.
