Smashing Pumpkins Debut New Single “Tiberius”

Smashing Pumpkins have unleashed a new single by the name of “Tiberius,” the third track released from the group’s upcoming album Monuments to an Elegy. The track is a louder affair than our last taste of music from the album, “Being Beige,” with “Tiberius” in particluar showing off the bombastic drumming of Tommy Lee.

Monuments to an Elegy hits shelves on Dec. 9 as the first of two new Smashing Pumpkins albums we’ll hear over the course of the next year. Billy Corgan also looks to be taking his group out on tour in 2015, as Smashing Pumpkins have been announced as one of the headliners of all three South American Lollapalooza festivals taking place this March (alongside Jack White, Robert Plant and many others), which conveniently take place during a gap in Motley Crue‘s ongoing “Final Tour.” Listen to “Tiberius” below.
