First Full ‘Peanuts’ Movie Trailer Captures The Holiday Spirit

We are still a year away from the release of The Peanuts Movie, but that isn’t stopping Blue Sky Studios from sharing a new trailer for the highly-anticipated film.

Set to debut in theaters sometime around Thanksgiving 2015, The Peanuts Movie will be the first big screen adventure to feature Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Woodstock, Peppermint Patty, and the rest of Charles Schulz’s Peanuts gang. The plot is still being kept under wraps, but the latest trailer teases a Christmas setting, as well as an epic battle between Snoopy and the Red Baron. There’s also an appearance from everyone’s favorite dog house. You can view the trailer below:

As I mentioned above, there is no synopsis for The Peanuts Movie at this point. If Blue Sky sticks to the holiday setting however, it would not be hard to imagine the feature length film offering an updated take on the classic Peanuts Christmas special, A Charlie Brown Christmas. We’ll bring you more information on the film as soon as new details begin to surface.

I don’t think an entire holiday themed movie is the case here. Other than that I’m excited for next year to arrive. A new era for us and the Peanuts gang is fast approaching

I definitely want my kids to watch this. What’s next? Computer animated Looney Toons? I’ll watch that real quick. Maybe it would be a good way to do say, Thundercats, Voltron, rather than giving it the transformers/smurfs treatment. Make it about THEM.

  3. Manuel Orozco says:

    Either direction, Peanuts will succeed

  10. The Walking Cuban says:

I like it. For a second I thought it’d be all snoopy and the Woodstocks, so the end was comforting. Hopefully there’ll be a football in there, too. And some “wop wop wop, wop wop wop”

  11. Manuel Orozco says:

These characters are legends for god sake what can happen

  12. The Walking Cuban says:

Hope it does well with kids

Next year all Peanuts fans past and present will have the feeling they are not in Kansas anymore
