Aaron West And The Roaring Twenties Releases Music Video For “Our Apartment”

Earlier last summer, Dan Campbell, or “Soupy,” fondly, of The Wonder Years, unveiled his solo side project, taking the persona of Aaron West And The Roaring Twenties. His debut record, We Don’t Have Each Other, was released in July. The Ace Enders-produced effort garnered a good amount of praise from its audience, including UTG.

Campbell has just released the music video for “Our Apartment.” It features a couple’s first dance at their wedding, while the band sings of the bitter end that this binding faces.

You can find the music video for “Our Apartment” below.

Soupy recently sat down with Billboard and shares, “We’d created a concept album that centered around a bitter divorce and I wanted the music video to exist in that universe,” Campbell continues. “I came to realize that, as a wedding band, Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties would be putrid, playing sad-sack songs about a failed marriage as a young couple tries to celebrate the dawn of theirs. I took the concept to director Eric Teti and we talked over the details: the angry father of the bride, the confused flower girl, and the horrified couple, having their first dance ruined. We were going to be the worst wedding band of all time.”
