Members of Darkside, The Antlers, Real Estate, More to Play Glasslands Farewell Show

New York City’s DIY venues are slowly closing up. 285 Kent is deceased, Death by Audio is now done, and in a little over a month, Glasslands will be as well. The venue will be putting on several exceptional final shows before they close their doors. Today, they announced a big holiday party that will likely sell out ASAP, as well.

Titled ‘Dave Harrington & Friends Holiday Spectacular!,’ the show will see a house band led by Darkside‘s Dave Harrington joined by numerous guest singers of Brooklyn bands: The Antlers‘ Peter Silberman, Bear In Heaven‘s Jon Philpot, Real Estate‘s Alex Bleeker, Here We Go Magic‘s Luke Temple, People Get Ready’s Jen Goma, and more. Nicolas Jaar collaborator Will Epstein will perform as well. The show takes place December 21  and tickets are on sale here.

The press release for the show is rather entertaining all on its, own:
