Quavo (Migos) Responds To Recent Robbery With “Tha Truth”

A week after being assaulted and robbed following a performance outside our nation’s capital, Migos member Quavo has released a song he hopes will reach those responsible.

Here’s what we know to be fact: Last week, Quavo and the rest of Migos were performing in Washington D.C. At the end of the night, Migos were leaving the club when they were approached by people claiming to be associated with rapper Fat Trel. Mayhem soon ensued, and in the midst of the chaos someone snatched Quavo’s gold chain. This information eventually made it to rap blogs, and over the last week the industry has been wondering how the men of Migos would react. Some expected violence, while others expected silence. Turns out, neither were right.

“Tha Truth” found its way online early Tuesday, November 25. The song features a ton of bars from Quavo, each focused primarily on the events that took place in D.C. last week. There’s mention of the crime, as well as Quavo’s desire for retaliation. No names are dropped and no direct threats are made, but Quavo makes it clear he’s not letting this go without a fight. You can stream the song, in full, below:

No one from the rap community has responded to “Tha Truth” yet, but it’s possible someone may reply before the week is out. Follow UTG on Twitter for updates.
