Drop your ego, anonymous internet traveler. You’ve entered the no flex zone, and though the members of Rae Sremmurd claim to have no type they certainly don’t have time for your whiny bullshit. They’ve come to remind you that it’s okay to have fun with hip-hop. Join us, won’t you?

Giving thanks to fans while simultaneously raising additional awareness for their upcoming album release, the duo known as Rae Sremmurd have shared a new single and music video titled “Illest Walking.” The song, which found its way online earlier this week, is a boastful anthem for anyone looking to go cut loose and go absolutely crazy with their best friends. It’s not the best beat of the month, and to be honest the verses are more than a little weak, but the energy and vibe brought to the track are hard to deny. The video showcases scenes from the duo’s life as of late, which as you can probably imagine has been pretty wild. Check it out:

These fun club tracks have helped Rae Sremmurd become a genre staple in a short amount of time, but they are going to need a lot more than energy and deep bass to establish a lasting presence in music today. Comment below and let us know your thoughts on “Illest Walking.”
