If you had given me an hour to develop every person or group I thought Lana Del Rey may one day head out on tour with I can tell you with absolute certainty the name Courtney Love would have never been mentioned. It’s not that I don’t like Love, but the music created by these two vocalists could not be more different. LDR is drenched in layers of atmospherics and imagery relating to the golden age of Hollywood, while Love digs through her emotional debris she calls existence and mines the best moments for inspiration. They could not be more different on paper, but in 2015 fans will have a chance to see both artists share one stage.

Today, Lana Del Rey revealed that Courtney Love will be joining her for what is being called the ‘Endless Summer’ tour 2015. The two powerhouse vocalists will spend the end of May and much of June together, largely on the West Coast, before Love bows out and LDR continues out East with another, currently unknown, supporting act. You can view every date for the tour at the end of this post.

Lana Del Rey released her sophomore album, Ultraviolence, earlier this year. Courtney Love has spent much of 2014 working on a new solo album as well, which I’m told should be in stores before this tour begins. Stay tuned.
